Sebaliknya bagi mereka yang tidak mengenal agama tersebut, tentu akan bertanya-tanya apa maksud gerakan dari sujud.

Media internasional berbasis di Amerika Serikat, CNN, mencoba menanyakan arti sujud kepada Mo Salah.

"Tidak. Ini tidak mencium tanah," kata Salah menjelaskan, dikutip BolaSport.com dari program CNN's Inside the Middle East.

"(Sujud) itu seperti berdoa atau mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Tuhan atas apa yang telah saya terima, tapi ya, itu hanya berdoa dan berdoa untuk menang. (Saya) selalu melakukannya sejak saya kecil, di manapun," ucapnya menambahkan.
